Capita IT acquire Ramesys

On Friday 26.03.10, Capita IT Services bought Ramesys IT Systems.  This purchase follows the withdrawal of the venture capitalist Lloyds/TSB.  The withdrawal was not due to any financial issues within Ramesys, rather that Lloyds/TSB wished to transfer the money to invest elsewhere.

Ramesys will continue to offer the same services in Tameside schools and staff from Tameside IT Services will be meeting representatives from Capita at the earliest opportunity to clarify what long term changes may be expected.
